Class Descriptions

CONSCIOUS YOGA -with Sarah

These OPEN LEVEL classes are for everybody. Generally, the am classes are more gentle, but every ‘level’ student is invited to check out whatever class fits their schedule. Sarah offers accessible balance to all poses, and students are encouraged to rest when needed, and resume poses as they are ready. Beginning students will be honored and advanced students will be encouraged to take their practice to their own level. These classes are great for those with some, or a lot of experience with Yoga. You will leave alive with reverence for your Pranayama (breathwork), renewed in your Asana (posture, or seat) understandings, and radiant with openness. Learn about the healing benefits of specific postures and get in touch with some of the deeper layers that Yoga can offer.

NCDC BALLET- with Sarah

For Adults, a center barre and a beginning class exploring the conditioning of classical and modern ballet technique.

NCDC Pre-DANCE AND KID DANCE– with Hilary

Pre-dance is for kids ages 3-6 and kids dance for kids ages 6-12. Your kids will learn a solid foundation in ballet, jazz and modern style dance and will have poerfromance opportunities, as the classes grow.

NCDC BEGINNING MODERN DANCE and Kids Modern Dance –with Hilary

Bring your curiosity as a beginning or returning  dancer and enjoy a class in modern dance technique and fun choreography.

NCDC CREATIVE MOVEMENT DANCE CLASS- with Jess and Jade
Jess combines over a decade of Ayurvedic Practice with her passion for modern and improv dance, to create a class that’s both fun and healing. Combining Elemental Theory, understanding of the Ayurvedic Mind-Body types, and Yogic principles including Meditation and Breath Work, it is an explorative class in personal healing and wellness. The class is open to all ages, and all levels of dance & yoga experience, as this class is more about guided self-expression and exploration of movement. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, joyful, stretched, and invigorated, having addressed a deeper level of awareness and healing in the body, mind, and spirit.

GYROKINESIS- with Margaret

The gyrotonic expansion system is a holistic approach to movement designed to meet the needs of people of all ages and abilities.You will experience increased strength and flexibility, renewed energy and vitality and a general sense of calm and well being.

MINDFUL FLOW YOGA– with Happy

The bliss of continuous presence. Rocket Yoga is based off of Ashtanga classical Yoga systems. Happy will take you into a deep and safe state of Yoga Union with your practice. Wednesday class is more accessible for beginner yoga flow students.

FIERCE FLOW YOGA– with Happy

This fast level practice is designed to take all levels of yogis to a crispness of focus and a new plane of presence. Set a clear drishti for yourself with Happy. Saturday class is a deepening challenge.
