Class Descriptions

(Conscious Yoga) HATHA/ASHTANGA YOGA -with Sarah

This OPEN LEVEL class is for everybody. Beginning students will be honored and advanced students will be encouraged to take their practice to their own level. Donation based allows all beings to enter Yoga. These classes are great for those with some or a lot of experience with Yoga. You will leave alive with reverence for your Pranayama (breathwork), renewed in your Asana (posture, or seat) understandings, and radiant with openness. Learn about the healing benefits of specific postures and get in touch with some of the deeper layers that Yoga can offer.

CONSCIOUS YOGA -with Sarah

Excellent for beginners to Yoga and focused enough to bring experienced yogis into their personal centered practice.

BREATHING and MEDITATION Thursdays 10-10:30am- with Sarah

We practice classic Ashtanga and Hatha breathing techniques that clear us physically and mentally to prepare for a focused, healing meditation. All levels encouraged.

BALLET– with Sarah

For Adults, a center barre and a beginning class exploring the conditioning of classical and modern ballet technique.

 

BEGINNING MODERN DANCE and Kids Modern Dance –with Hilary

Bring your curiosity as a beginning or returning  dancer and enjoy a class in modern dance technique and fun choreography.

 

GYROKINESIS- with Margaret

The gyrotonic expansion system is a holistic approach to movement designed to meet the needs of people of all ages and abilities.You will experience increased strength and flexibility, renewed energy and vitality and a general sense of calm and well being.

 

MINDFUL FLOW YOGA– with Happy

YIN YOGA– with Laura

Yin is a meditative approach to yoga. The practitioner is trying to access the deeper tissues of the body such as the connective tissue and fascia and many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint. Poses are held for longer periods of time and helps regulate the flow of energy in the body.

 

FIERCE FLOW YOGA– with Happy

This fast level practice is designed to take all levels of yogis to a crispness of focus and a new plane of presence. Set a clear drishti for yourself with Happy.
