Jessica Hartley Litton has been a resident of Nevada County since she was 5, minus a few years in college. She returned home to study Ayurveda here, at the California College of Ayurveda, where she graduated in 2010 as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist. She works with people all over the world, guiding their journey back to health and wellness, and helping them understand their own nature and needs for balance. She offers healing Ayurvedic Massage and Marma Point Therapy (similar to acupressure). She also practices a form of guided relaxation healing, called Yoga Nidra, assisting the person (or group) into a meditative state where deep healing and rejuvenation can take place. Her dance life began in 2002 with Lovie Bucknell at Sierra College, and has blossomed through the years with such teachers as Karen Attix, Deanna Figuera, and most prominently Azriel LaMarca. Jessica’s passion for dance and modern art is an expression of something deeply spiritual for her; a symbolic expression of world happenings & issues, and how we can show the true meaning and preciousness of life. However, she is also a mom of a fun-loving toddler, and these days things are pretty playful.
